| suspension Are KYB struts ok to run on stock springs? my stock struts are going to need to be replaced soon and Id like to upgrade to a stiffer suspension. I would just buy new springs while Im at it, but Im poor and beyond that I dont want to lower my car any more than needed. Advice is greatly appreciated.

You won't notice a real stiffer increase though. Just back to stock, more or less. I believe the Eibachs are a pretty good compromise between stock and sport suspension...not too harsh, and have one of the smaller drops.

| Yeah, you won't notice anything in terms of it being stiffer. That has to do with the springs. |

| I'd recomend checking the ride height against factory specifications if you have stock springs. That way if the stock springs are worn out, you aren't going to have to redo hours of work.

| oooo good point..
and for the love of saturn gods everywhere, PLEASE spend some money and use new rubber parts! the top strut mount especially MUST be replaced and not reused. the power of the strut and the lower spring height will rip that old mount right out of itself and destroy your car, or hurt someone/thing. |
