I have a 97 SC2 and I want to turbo the stock block.

First question is does anyone out there make a turbo kit or at least manifold and turbo setup for the car?

Second how much boost can you run on that stock 1.9 all aluminum block?

Third Whats the gain in HP and TQ with a turbo on the stock block?

Fourth does anyone know what a turbo SC2 will run in the QM?

It all depends on the tune and the shape of the engine. You can easily blow up an engine at 2psi as you can at 12psi. I've been running 12psi for 2 months now and 9psi a year prior to that without problems. My car is tuned fairly well though.

Again, it depends on your tune as far as how you are giving the engine fuel, whether you are adjusting spark, the size of the turbo, how efficient the intake and exhaust is, etc.

It depends on the driver, the power you are making, and whether or not you can put it to the ground. Suspension plays a great part in this.
