Default Upgrading SOHC to DOHC


Ok i dont know how many times someone wrote this but i dont really care.
Anyways I have a '97 SL1 SOHC and Iwant to upgrade it to the DOHC.
How do I do this and how much will it cost? Help would be appreciated

Go pull an engine and everything that is different than your car. Just pull the whole engine, pcm, wiring harness, all the hoses and lines.

easiest to swap the whole engine. Same tranny can be used. You'd also need the PCM. At least with a same year engine, hoses, etc will be the same for the most part. You'll also need the DOHC exhaust manifold, and possibly the downpipe as well. It's not terribly hard, but not really for a beginner, either.
