I don't know about the quality of the shifters, but I'd be cautious just because he has a low feedback rating. With only 9 total feedback, 2 recent, and none from selling those shifters...he doesnt have much or a reputation yet. I'd wait and see if he gets any positive feedback on similar items first. just my $.02

well the one on ebay has a raised pivot point, shortened shifter stem and lowered shift cable connection. that seems like a good amount of work done to it. and for $91 including $20 core you really can't beat it.

I sent the winning bidder an email asking him about the short shifter. If he hasn't gotten it yet I'm sure we'll exchange messages and he'll contact me about it later. I let you guys know what he says.

"It looks pretty good, the gear changing is a bit smoother and a lot faster,"

Got a reply, heres what he said. He won a saturn short shifter from the same seller on ebay.

Making a short throw shifter isn't that complicated and is pretty hard to screw up, so it's probably worth it. Just ensure that the shifter isn't just chopped down, but that they actually drilled the rivets and lowered the fulcrum.
