Default Anyone interested in true coilovers?

I was talking to someone that works at a major suspension manufacturer, and they were expressing some interest in whether or not Saturn owners would be interested in true coilovers for their cars? They could be fully adjustable, height adjustable with internal valving or tuned non-adjustable systems.

These guys are dead serious about their interest in putting out parts for our cars. As per their request, I can't say exactly who it was yet, but I can assure you that it is a BIG name in suspensions and they make high quality parts (they're not some off-brand BS company). Anyway, I said I'd try to get him some info, so please vote.

All depends on the $$$$.

I don't really need coilovers cuz I don't autocross and springs and struts will keep me happy. But I'm in favor of anyone making anything for our cars.

okay- i stand corrected, i was on sps and noticed they no longer have the carrerra coil overs. the carrerra dampeners are on closeout right now, so i guess they phased them out.

Yeah, from what I understand both Carrerra and Progress have discontinued S-Series suspension components, which is why the conversation ended up getting sparked with this company.

I'll talk to them and try to get some *general* pricing on the estimated cost. Of course the features, complexity and amount of demand for them will dictate the final price, but maybe they can get an estimate. I'll check and post what I hear.

im runnin around on sleaves right now b/c i personally am not going to pay for a set true coil-overs that 1) dont have a fully ajustable strut and 2)can mount the controls for on the inside.

Yeah im right im gunna pay 1200 bucks to have a strut with a threaded casing and a spring sitting on a nut..... i paid like 50 bucks and did it my self by buying sleaves. and i still jave a comfy ride.

so i say HELL YEAH im interested. id love to have a sweet @$$ suspention in my car and if some one wants to make it for the s series the SCORE!!! if they decide not to then I CURES THEM TO WAKE UP WITH AN IRRECTILE DISFUNCTION AND PEANUT BUTTER ON THERE @$$ FOR ALL ETERNITY!!!

yeah that would be cool, depending on price, especially since its hard to find aftermarket parts for s-series. i would love to go into a shop and see the parts, but no its all honda.
