Default APC Springs???

http://www.performancepartz.com/prod...oducts_id=1370

Anybody familiar with them? And you think 3" would be too much? And how low of drop can I go without replacing the struts?

Thanks
Ryan

They are coilovers. They can be adjusted from 0" to 4". They won't have as smooth of a ride as springs would.

Depends if you struts are worn out or not. Lowering won't make you need to replace them. I would recommend it if you car is getting up there in years.

ditto on what revolver said, but even if they were springs and not coilovers, they'd still be crap...you can't spell CRAP w/o A, P, C.

If you drop it that much (3"), plan on getting new struts/shocks all the way around, along with a new alignment and a camber kit. Add all of that to the cost of the coilovers/springs and you are looking at a small chunk of change...

Max drop without replacing struts would be around 1-1.5".. Even then they are gonna wear out pretty fast..

Plus, you won't be able to drive it all that much due to the chance of the tire rubbing the well is too great. not worth it IMO, regardless of the brand.
