big brakes aren't necessarily better for our saturns. They're so light and not powerful that you don't need like a 12" rotor.

did you know that dadding a larger brake rotor and caliper will hurt your car's perfomance?

the extra unsprung rotational mass will rob power and slow you down.

purthermore, if your breaks can lock up your tires, thenm they're doing their job. the brakes are supposed to stop the tires. the tires stop the car.

actually u kan stop faster (in a shoter distance) if u dont lock up ur tires thats one of the reasons for abs the other being that you still have control to turn while you are breaking hard if there are obsticals (a big ass car/truck or people) that u kant avoid by just stoping

bigger breaks should help some (in theory) but i would think u would wanna get better break lines and a caliper with more than just a single piston if ur serious about better stopping power....

although if ur just going for the look of a big rotor get whatever u want (as long as it still works at least as good as the stock breaks)

they'll still look good w/ stockers IMO. If you want, you can do a rear disc convert.
