Default Cone or Box.... K&N Filter---

I know that K&N makes a box filter that fits the factory air box but do the cone filters on aftermarket cold air intakes make that much of a difference? Filter to filter, ignoring the plumbing. ???

Ditch the box at the end and forget a factory drop in. Just put a cone filter on the end of the intake tubing.

If you want a K&N get it because it lasts longer not because it flows better, which it doesnt compared to some newer filters(cone style).
