#1 | | Guest | Help Needed If anyone can help with this, I will be forever indebted. I own a 2002 L300, great car and all, but I'm not crazy about the standard wood (plood?) trim on the dash. I do like the wood trim from the Special Edition DVD-equipped L-Series. It's sort of a grayish color, and would look great with my black leather interior. I contacted Saturn to order the kit, but they're asking around $300 for two pieces of wood trim. Does anyone know where or how I can get this wood trim for a more realistic price?
Thanks | |

| I'm not sure about the L series dash kits, but there's a few companies that have websites out there that produce dash (interior) kits for Saturns. I'll have to dig them up and I'll post them when I find them.

| A lot of these places make it sound like they sell real wood interior pieces... do any of these places sell actual wood? |

#6 | | Guest | Hello to all the SaturnFans here!
CelticShadow,
I've been to a few of those websites; all they seem to sell are kits to add onto the original wood trim, not to replace it. If you know of any places that sell actual replacement/alternate kits, that info would be greatly appreciated.
L300Boy,
Some places do sell real wood. It's probably very expensive, though.
Malice Racing,
It's not so much cutting the laminate, but also getting it to curve around where it's supposed to.

| I'll have to keep my eyes open for a full replacement woodgrain kit while I'm on a search for a nice carbon fiber dash kit for my 97 SC2.

#8 | | Guest | CelticShadow, Try these sites:
woodtrim.com
exoticwooddash.com
wooddashfactory.com
autodash.com
They all have decent selections of carbon fiber kits for the SC, but, alas, nothing for my L.
