Default High-output Alternator

I know from reading here that aftermarket alternators are not that good
I know from reading here that pep boys uses rebuilt ones

so i need a new one, and heard from pat that someone had modded a factory one to output more and wanted to know who it was and how it came out.

and if not i need an alternator so then you'll be gettin an e-mail, joey

i know from reading here that kcadams was the one that rebuilt his alternator. however i dont know if he made it a high output one or not.

What's so bad w/ aftermarket ones? I want to know cause i have a sms 200amp one sitting here waiting to be installed.
