Default Intakes...any recommendations?


Hey guys, just inquiring as to who makes the best intakes... also, who makes bigger throttle bodies for our cars. Thanks!

If you have a manual, AEM's CAI will be the best intake upgrade you can buy. For warm air, I suggest either SPS or Iceman or AEM. Short ram (warm air) intakes are normally the choice if you have an automatic, unless your build your own custom CAI.

SPS sell a 55mm TB, but it isn't a complete bore. I think it 55mm to the place, then 52 after that, I'm not realy sure. Others can verify this.

i have the AEM short intake..its awesome..def gives the car a more aggresive sound

Ive had both. I had an injen warm air in my saturn and an AEM cold air in the Civic.

i love my injen intake... what a difference it made especially the sound... all though it was a bit pricey

for the throttlebody contact a member named jeep####. He bores out our stock throttle bodies for like, 25$+shipping or something. He cant do it till hes off campus for a while though- spring break should be comin up for him if you wanna try though
