Default KYB GR-2 Struts w/ lowering springs?

Does anyone know how well these struts work with lowering springs?
I have the Sprint Extreme 2.5" springs, so Im not sure if these struts would be the right ones to go with for a good ride.

KYB GR-2® Brand Gas Struts
They're only $48/each, and Ive heard good things about them....

KYB GR@'s are the most reccomended strut for saturns, especially lowered ones.
