MOS Short Throw Shifter REVIEW Just got my S/S installed.. it didnt take long, but id recomend a shop do it just because i bent the main gear selector fitting so i have all front gears, 1,3,5, but my 2,4,R are hard to get into, because the connector is a ***** to take off. i used a flat head 8" screw driver to pry it off.
the shifter is about 3" shorter then stock with a raised pivot point, there is litterly 1" of travel between the gears. the only problem is when i went to drive, i had the car in 3rd because i couldnt feel the gates. but after messing with it for a little while i got the hang of it.
i hit the gears so quickly now, depressing the clutch slows me down.

this is a really good shifter, there have been some problems with plexi-raised pivot points, this one however has no clearence issues. you will not, however be able to use the stock boot anymore, as the main body sits to close to the top of the console. i would recomend this shifter to anyone who wants a good s/s. the price is right and the product performes exactly as expected.
