Default Need Help With White Face Gauges

I just bought white face gauges from ProCarParts for my 94 SL2 and it doesnt come with directions. Can anyone in here who has done it give me a detailed outline what i need to do, seeing that I heard it was a pain. And what all tools I'll need.

pull out the glass and gauge cluster. and the top of the dash to make instal;lation easier. to install the gauges i just used some rubber cement over top the factory gauges. then press them on. to remove the needles make a not where GAS and TEMP needles are before you pull them off....suggestion is to get a tank of gas right ebfore you do it and make sure the car doesnt raise the temp.....if the gas station is kinda far away fill it up the nite before. to pull off the needles you can use a fork to get under the pivot point and pry off. the power wire i hooked into the cig lighter ring that lights up when the lights are on.....there is also a wire tha tis constant hot so dont hook into that one

you can also wire it right in where one of your stock bulbs that lit up your odometer were, just pop it off, slide the wire in and reconnect the circuit

OK, I keep seeing all this about adding power to the gauges, I assume whenever you're putting the needles back on..I've taken the needles off three different sets of gauges, and never used power while taking them off, or putting them on. Without power they all drop to their minimum level, I just pop em off and pop em on, haven't had any problems yet. Not tryin to be an ass, I just don't understand is all.

i think the fuel gauge stays where the level is as well as the temp gauge. the RPM and speedo drop to 0 tho. altho i have seen some cars that everything drop to zero, but when you pull the needle off and put them back on you have to make sure when you power up the car it goes to where it should be. IE if you have 1/2 tank of gas when you start and when you put the needle back on and power up you have 3/4 of a tank then you know you are wrong....and will prolly run out of gas and wonder why when you think you stil got a 1/4 tank left.

Yeah, I guess mine's a lil different then. They all drop to 0. Actually about an 1/8 inch below so it wasn't really a problem. They've all worked fine for me and haven't ran out of gas yet.

Ya make sure you remember were the gauge needle was before you move it. If you take a look at my gauges on cardomain my gauge is in the red for the heat.
