I always though it was under the dash on the passenger side, I'm pretty sure it is. I saw last time I had my dash cover off.

I'm not sure what you mean by data logging, do you mean pulling up codes or reprogramming the PCM? You can pull of codes from the diagnostic link under the dash on the drivers side. I don't think there's anyway of alterinf stuuf in the PCM. I know you can buy modified PCMs with removed revlimiters and speedlimiters.

Yep, a paper clip will work as well. I don't know the exact ports you insert each end in but if you have a haynes manual it will tell.

I think it makes the SES light flash the codes, only works on OBD 1 I think.

Yep, it only works on OBDI cars. Definately a good thing for owning a OBDI.

Heya. On your car the data port is right above your left knee when you're in the driver's seat.

To gain access to any OBD1 trouble codes, you take a jumper wire, or paperclip, and insert it into the two ports at the top right of the plug. The ports are side by side at the top right. Whatever you do, don't plug into any other ports, as you'll most likely short something out. Once you've plugged in the jumper, turn the key to the run position, but do not start the car. The check engine light will flash a code 12 to start with (that's one flash, a pause, and then two more flashes) It will do this 3 times. After that, it will flash any stores codes at you in the same fashion. Keep in mind that all codes are 2 digits.

This same data port is used for data logging.

Saturn PCMs are notoriously difficult to modify BTW. Why? Just cuz Saturn wanted to be a pain in the ass.
