Default OBX Headers? A/C

Anyone know if these will these work with the factory air conditioning unit in place, or will it have to be removed permamently?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEBWA:IT

also, and comments on the quality of OBX? Any alternatives/suggestions are welcome. I'm looking for a header that will work with the A/C in place. SPS says the HOTSHOT does not. thanks.

I had a thread just like this in regards to hotshot. Hotshot headers DO work w/ A/C on the twin cam, but not on SOHC. Seeing as how yours is a DOHC, you should be ok.

I've seen one bad post around here about OBX quality, but you can't really judge from one person's claim. Anyone want to chime in on this one?

OBX headers are made from 18 gauge steel. Hotshot headers are made from 14 gauge steel.
When Hotshot used to make THIS EXACT SAME HEADER from 16 gauge steel (which is thicker than 18 gauge steel) they cracked.
Hotshot switched to 14 gauge steel (some 2 years ago) and they no longer crack.

you do the math..
