Default OEM Saturn parts question

Just curious,

Does anyone have any idea what the different pictures on saturn packages mean? I have gotten several gaskets that had a guitar, or a globe or whatnot on them.. Was just wondering if these had any significance... All the parts said they were made in Spring Hill.

I think it has something to do with the way they sort the product at Spring Hill.

That way when people are sorting products they can put all of the dinosaurs together or the guitars together in their own bins.

i was told it had something to with the person doing the packaging... each person had their own stamp so it could be traced... or something.

The pictures are actually for identifing the Picker and Packer for each order. As some of the folk down in Springhill don't have an advanced education some can't read and write well. Therefore they are assigned pictures. This is what we were told when one of our parts guys called the parts service rep. in Springhill.
