Pacesetter Cat-Back

I was just wondering about the $200 Pacesetter bat-back on SPS http://www.spswebpage.com/products/install-pace.html
and wondering what it sounds like- is there any droning noise, weedwacker noise (ricer buzz), etc. or does it sound more like a Porsche minus the turbos?

Would it be better (bang for the buck, and sound) to go with a 2.25" mandrel bent exhaust using a thrush glasspack and a dynomax super-turbo muffler? If so, what length of glasspack should I get?

This is for a street-driven vehicle, but if I can get it to sound really nice (no drone or ricer buzz; like a porsche or something...

) I really don't care how loud it is, so long as I can hear myself think.

Don't go with Pacesetter. Their products are trash.

I agree that most pacesetter products are garbage. If you go with something else, watch out for chambered mufflers that sound like fart cannons.

Okay, what length of thrush glasspack should I use (they come in different sizes), and I did hear that flowmaster chambered mufflers sound awful on Sattys.

How long would alumanized steel last compared to stainless? All I need is for it to last for about 3 years (piping, mufflers usually rust out sooner), then I'll be through HS and my one-year college and be onto swapping in a 3800sc'd v6
