Default performance chip for ecm


i know the factory ecm cant be cracked, but this site claims you send them the ecm and they'll send it to jet to get it reprogramed. just wonderin on everyones thoughts. http://accessories.accessoriesgiant.com/?x=170&y=23

Send me your money instead. I'll fart in your direction and I can guarantee you the same horsepower gains for your car that you'd get if you do the Jet thing.

If that is like the $400 Venom thing that connects to your chip, then its worthless. It just makes the computer think your car is always at WOT and basically dumps fuel into the chamber.

It doesn't. Jet reprograms the stock computer. They raise speed limiters to 124mph by making the car think there are bigger wheels on it. They actually dynotested it to -1HP or something like that.

jet has succesfuly cracked the OBD1 's, but the OBD2's they haven't cracked.
