if you want good light and that blueish color to them then why not go with a HID setup..... its gonna cost a bit more but you will get the blueish color you want and will still be able to see at night

Can't beat the look and visiability of HID. I never though I would do it, but wow am I glad I did. I get sooooo many looks now, and the color they project on the streets is just so crisp. Road signs glow like crazy and I can see in the ditches like never before. They make my silverstars look like something on a Model-T.

Oh yeah, and here are some quick shots I took right after I got everything hooked up and working. They are 6000k HIDs. Of course now I have em pretty much dialed in so they are aimed much better and project way more light without blinding other drivers (probably piss several off though that don't like em). I have passed several cops both in town and on completely dark highways without any problems and when I turn my brights on they barely extend past where these project, and I get sick from the yellow color so I change back right away.

Anyhow, here they are.

I paid about $430 for mine, install was quite simple actually. I chose the 6000k because they seemed to be the best compromise between color and light output. I'm very glad I got these too. I have friends that have 8000k, 10000k, and 12000k and mine have the most distance than any of them, plus the color is just right. They actually don't look that blue on the road in person, from my experience, it's hard to capture the actual color with most cameras. I thought they would be too bright right away, so I aimed the lights down alot, and as you can see in those pics, I realized it was too much. After about a week of driving, aiming, driving, aiming, I think I finally have em where I want em. There is no bulb out there that can copy these. Roads signs glow like no other. I can drive during the middle of the day with them on and the signs still glow, but the light is so close to daylight that I can't see it anywhere else. Crazy stuff! I think every vehicle I ever own from now on, if it doesn't come with these, I'm gonna install em myself.
