Default Plug Wire Opinions Requested

Hello everyone! It is time for me to replace the plugs and wires in my 92 SC, and I was thinking about going with something new. Right now I have the "better quality" general auto parts store wires. I was considering Magnecor or Accel wires, but wanted to find out a) if it would make any difference/sense to get them over the generic wires, and b) if it is worth the money. I have a Hotshot Intake and Dynomax muffler, those being the only breathing enhancements to my car. I plan on going with NGK plugs. Any opinions greatly welcomed. E-mail address is MrSun72@aol.com.
Thanks!

-Chris

I am using the MSD 8.5 Superconductor wires on my SOHC. I am very pleased with them and they have performed flawlessly with my MSD DIS II and nitrous.

I'm sure that you'll have only good things to say about it, SPS is a top notch company and they wouldn't sell you anything less.

hey shadow, if you plan on running nitrous than stay away from directhits. if you want to order them i say order right from the manufactor. perdonnally i'm staying away sticking with regular accel or msd wires.

The direct hits system is beautiful if you wont be running nitrous or turbo. This is the only combo that i could ever see making a difference. If you go with an MSD DIS-II system, then use msd wires. Otherwise, stick with factory plug wires. Very few people have cars that need more spark than what your stock wires produce.

ok, so basically, if I'm just looking for an appearence upgrade under the hood for shows, I should go with a cheaper colored wire instead? As far as turbo or Nitrous, I'm kind of undecided which direction I really want to go.
