I would suggest pulleys for your vehicle. A great addition and no too expensive, www.customcargrills.com sells them cheap and good quality. They may give a little more stress on your vehicle, but major problems with them? Seriously doubt, and haven't heard anything yet.. You have to understand, ever modification to your vehcile can be said to wear out something in your vehicle, because its not stock... my suggestion.. go for it

Get them anodized. I had a crank pulley that wasn't, and it got worn through by the crank bearing and began leaking oil. The anodized ones should be ok.

The whole idea behind the pulleys is that they are more lightweight and should be stronger as well. A lightweight pulley should allow the engine to turn the accessory belt with more ease. If you can in anyway allow the engine to work with more ease you can transfer wasted energy to the wheels, so you get more "power" or better performance. I don't know for sure if the pulleys work anybetter than the stock ones, you'll have to look for dyno test results for them, my guess is that you'll barely notice a difference unless your engine has had a lot of work/mods already done. but make sure you get high quality, if you really want pulleys I recommend finding a carbon fiber or strong steel that's anodized. You don't want to get a product thats gonna break on you and ultimately perform worse than the stock pulleys.

customcargrills.com pulleys are damn nice pulleys my friend. To date, we only have the option of aluminum pulleys (I believe they are aluminum) but they have improved upon these pulleys by anodizing them.

Not hard at all. You'll need an impact socket and air gun to remove the alternator pulley, and you need to take the alt. off first. Other than that, simple.
