| SATURN BODY KIT PRICES
OK, somebody tell me this, why can I get a body kit for cousin's sunfire for $400, and I have to pay nearly $1000 to get a bodykit for my 92 Satty SL2? I think if we want to be heard much in the racing community, we have to have the looks as well as the power, so why is it that prices are so damn high on our appearence packages? I am trying to work with a few companies to ge them lowered, so here's one, if we can get enough people to contact this ONE company, he may lower his prices. www.kitzandmore.com, he has a decent selection on bodykits for Saturn, and is a nice guy when it comes to working with prices.
Also, I am submitting a design that I have called "Prowl" to this company, I think many Saturn fans would love it, it takes the bodykit selection for saturns to a whole new level.

| the prices are high because of a low number of buyers. It's economics. Besides that, you should be able to find a kit for less than that. |

| My biggest problem is the high shipping costs. It seems most the companies are in CA and want almost $200 to ship just a front bumper. I wish I could find a local source in the Detroit area.

| supply and demand is all i gotta say. how many kitted saturns do you see? how many kitted sunfires? unfirutnately sunfires outnumber us by MANY. and thats with us including all models SC and SL/SW as opposed to sunfire only.
as far as a prototype kit good luck with that one. whats prolly gonna happen is they will design the kit to fit your car for $3000 and want 10 buy ins before they start anything. now by buy in i mean you find 10 people who put out about $500 each to get production started and when its finished they have to pay another $500 to get the kit. AND those 10 buys will have to wait prolly around 6 months before they see any progress on the kit. there is alot that goes into R&D and makin sure it all fits. i mean you dont want to have a kit that doesnt really flow with the lines on the car now do you?
also for an inexpensive kit...while the kits last....buy them from ebay. i just bought my kit from ebay for $625

| Saturns are sleek and sexy from the factory... Sunflowers on the other hand, aren't so aggressive looking (well, I'll admit the GT's can look pretty good)...
Body kits...? We don't need no stinkin' body kits!

Very true, they do look good, but this is just for a cruiser, my speed demon will not have but a custom made by me air dam on the front, and a few other customizations on the back and front.

| A lot of cars look good by just lowering and throwing some wheels on, especially saturns. I have a kit, but it wasnt cheap and it was used, and on top of that, you need to get it painted. It's not cheap owning a car that typically noone looks at agressively.
