Default SMS is F***ED UP!!!!!!

I finially got my forged pistons in today after a 9 week wait! I could not bleave what I saw when I opened up the package....
I had 4 pistons, 4 wist pins, and 4 wrist pin locks. that is it! I am missing my totalSeal rings, and 4 wrist pin locks. WTF!!!!!! I get lied to twice about the delivery date of my pistons that I have waited on for longer than normal, then I get shorted parts! I will now mike my pistons to see if they are even the right size.

So I want to tell everyone out there that I will NEVER again buy anything from SMS again. SPS here I come.

Sorry if I have offended anyone, I just wanted to get the word out there that SMS has F***ED me over and I do not want the same to happen to anyone else out there.

Please feel free to share some stories about SMS if you have any.

dude that really sux. You contacted them to let them know that you are..."unsatisfied" with your order?

I've actually found that SPS has generally better parts than SMS, for what it's worth.

yeah I bought an AEM short ram for my '96 SL2, and AEM was being bastards for not manufacturing that part for a while, so my order was on backorder. I emailed SPS and the same day the dude emailed me back, and after a string of emails, I requested that my order be cancelled, and the next day he sent me an email saying that my order was cancelled. Great service IMO.

Dilligaf, maybe they dude you talked to was just having a bad day *shrug*

If I would have known about this Dan I would have tried to get some pics for you a couple weeks ago when I stopped by SPS when I went up to Ohio. They had their Ion sitting out front and I got a few pics of it. http://saturncraze.com/pictures/21.JPG
