I installed a huge number of Fuzion ZRi tires when I worked for Tires Plus. Many people bought them because they were the least expensive low profile Z rated tires, and their quality control was under the control of Bridgestone.
That in mind, I discovered that Tires Plus cheated my dad when they replaced his struts. And I discovered that months after I was layed off. If you want to buy Fuzion tires, go to some other Bridgestone or Firestone retailer.
Also, sometimes various repair shops have tent sales where they drastically reduce prices on discontinued tires. Depending on the make of tire, quite often those discounted tires are high quality, they just don't handle as well or ride as smoothly as the newest tires.
Another thing I see for low prices, many stores sell Coopers, Hankooks, or Kumhos. Sure, they aren't famous names, however, they usually aren't junk either.
Anyway, if you buy a decent tire from an honest shop, and it does wear out before it should, sometimes they will reduce the price of some new tires by half. That is what happened at Goodyear Gemini when mom's boyfriend's Toyota had the Goodyears wear out unevenly.
