yeah, the shop had free ones. i had a raspberry jelly one...

ok, here it is, these tires are a centimeter taller than my stock FR480's
when i hammer it from a dead stop, it shifts to 2nd @ 38, now it does the same @ 34 with the new tires so it causes a slight speedometer discreprancy, as for handling, i dunno, i was stuck behind ****tards and assjacks for 15 miles coming back to school... although i can say that it did feel a lot nicer and had a smoother ride in traffic.

one more thing: i took one corner at 40, and it just slid, so i think i need to break in these tires for more than 6 miles @ 30mph before i do something else stupid...

i'll take the long way home and i'll tell ya more around 3 or 4.

ok, i dorve around for a good hour or so on the way home from school.

after driving about 15 miles, i got tired of waiting for the protective coating to wear off, so i gave it a little goose.

after a very miniscule burnout, they gripped like they were made out of tar paper, transisitioned very well, and absorbed bumps very nicely, over all these tires are hella good, and paying $280 for everything, i'd say it's a damn good deal.

no steering fade, no nothing, the car feels very neutral, very surgical, i took this looooong sweeping left curve at 60-65, and it felt oh-soooo nice, especially since my 480's would start howling and breaking out @ 40.

bottom line: buy these for your SL, if you have stock 14 inch wheels.

oh, and since these are ever so slightly bigger, they fill in your wheelwells a bit more and they have a kinda aggressive tread to them. see:http://www.toyo.com/tires/tire_lines...jpgs/spect.jpg
