| TurtleWax Platinum Series This weekend I waxed the car with TurtleWax Platinum Series Liquid wax and what a difference it makes. The whole paint is mirror-like. This stuff doesn't smell bad at all, it smells rather pleasent like coconut suntan lotion :P .
Besides it's nice smell, the wax seems be excellent. Well worth $10 a bottle. Also our blue 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 looks better than ever.
I will post pictures after I wash and wax it again.. damn rain. |

| I use Meguiar's Mirror Glaze, but not till I do the following steps.
Wash the car with Dawn to get off any solvents or old wax.
Use Scratch X to remove and large noticeable scratches
Meguiar's Swirl Mark Remover.
Meguiar's Polish to get the color back.
Meguiar's Mirror Glaze to get the car polished real nice. |

| My dad said he used Turtle Wax since like the 1960s and that the new Platinum Series our performs the old wax. He says it was well worth the $10. I'll submit pictures of the Ram as well whenever it stops raining. |

| Yeah, right now I use Eagle1 Nanowax.
The new wax technology is totally better than the old stuff.
Heck, before I switched to Eagle1 Nanowax, I used Mother's wax. The Nanowax seems like a 25% improvement, and I am not joking here.
My car looks just like a computer model, it is THAT shiny.

| In my opinion, Turtle Wax is superior (although I haven't tried Eagle1). Damn that stuff shines, and it was practically the pioneer in car waxes "back in the day." Yeah, my dad says he also used that stuff in like the 50s!
Yo Artificialist, you tried Turtle? can you compare the two?

| well i use to use turtle wax but it sucked before. then we got armor all(cant find that anywhere now) and it was amazing!!! took dull oxidized black paint to brand new. now after that meguiars cleaner wax, crap, then gold class, a bit better, but still didnt do what i was lookign for. now i use mothers and its the best ever! i also use their clay bar and wow what a difference, paint feels like it was just put on.
now since ive been through all of those i want to check out this turtle wax platinum series and see how it does. |
