no one makes them, it was a DIY on his part. as for the reflector, you can swap in a SL1 trunk lid, out sand off the texture on the reflector and body fill the gaps and then paint it.

There are a few speednuts on the back of the reflector if I remember correctly, and in addition to that there are several plastic fingers on the top and bottom of the reflector itself that hold it to the panel. A flathead screwdriver works well on those.

Pics of my ex on Cardomain, red '98 SL2. I think she's on page 3 or 4.

thats not a good idea. you should just buy some altezza's from another car and do a tail-light conversion. ibsumbodyondisboardcallzuaric0r

if u really want to know....you take an extra pair of healights, take the plastic cover off, and bake them in the oven at like 400-500 degrees until the red and yellow peel off the inside......do it for too long and the plastic will crack..then use super bright red bulbs so you dont get stopped by the cops

That doesn't work if the plastic is colored throughout.

Totally clear tails are illegal - you aren't allowed to use colored bulbs to make the brake lights red - it has to be a lens. That's why you don't see more totally clear tails on cars. Plus there has to be a red reflective surface on the rear of the car. Google should find you some state & federal laws (though I think state pretty much covers it).

black them out, or to be more stylish, just black out the amber
