Only struts I can find for an ION atm is the koni ones from sps but as I have never had a good experiance with SPS and never really heard of koni I rather get some KYB's anyone know if they will fit?

Koni is a great brand. In all actuality, Konis are not quite as tight/durable as KYB, but Koni has been a respectable brand for some years now. I'd see if you can get your hands on some KYBs made for your ION, but if you can't, you shouldn't be too disappointed w/ Koni.

probably wait just like my strut tower bar/ rear sway bar/ and the progress coilover kit

I might actually get the progress coilover system if they come out soon as far as I know they very need completed

sweet...somewhere along my list of mods I need to include new coilovers/struts and tires, but who knows when that'll be...
