TX laws

Hey SPOC-TX got some questions about TX laws. What should I prepare myself and my car for as far as traffic laws? Any sound limits, window tinting limitations, how quickly do I need to switch my car to TX tags?
Just trying to clear up questions now than finding out the expensive way.

the police here are kind of layed back with that stuff. they have to many murders and robberies going on. the only thing i have gotten tickets on is inspection and running a red light, but when they pull you over for that then they add on alot of other stuff, like license plate in window and stuff like that. but they did move street racing to a class b, my friend just got caught and he hade to spend 2 days in jail and about 1500 dollars in fines.
