Default Blacked out headlights

Heres a stupid question...Should I just get the GTS headlight covers or use the VHT Nightshade to use on the headlights? Could you use the VHT on the headlights???? Where the hell would I get a CF hood for my sl1?

if you must black the headlights, get the covers cause you can take them off. they cut the effectiveness of your headlights a ton

VHT nightshade is not actually straight black - it's tinted to make the red of tail lights still red. Not meant for headlights at all. Plus the loss of being able to see anything.

+1. I used it on my sidemarkers, and it does have a reddish tint.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

they show up on fleabay every once and awhile.

don't get the headlight covers, you want to be able to see at night, at least i know i do.....i spent a year or two experimenting with headlights, changing blubs, trying this or that......nothing gave good lighting until i changed to HID.

these prolly would work okay with HID because of the massive output the lights generate (heck, you go 50 watt HO HID, 35w being stock).....

don't know about local laws, prolly something in the books that specifically states colorizing of the headlamps is a no-no...

but that never stopped me when i was a youngin'

laterz,

baldy
