I really like the all black look.

P.S. Only $572? I got quoted at well over $1k, then called the guy out on some BS labor hours and got it down to just under $900, then decided to just say screw it, I dont want to put that much into paint. And that was with their basic service!

P.S.S. I really wish there was a decal with saturns new catchphrase "Rethink American". I think it would look sweet.

the thing with maaco was that their paintjobs usually were sprayed over the existing paint and clear, then cleared a second time after re-painting. they also didn't do the doorjams or underhood, so you may have red paint still sticking out after you paint the car yellow por exemplo. i would probably take it to an actual paint booth and have it done righr

You have to pay extra for their "prep plus" package. With that they sand down to the primer I think before spraying on the paint/clear.

I think thats another thing you have to pay extra for. Also, they don't tape very well, my girlfriend took her Jeep there to get the front left fender repainted after a minor accident and there was paint sprayed waaaay down into the wheel well and some paint on the tire itself.

For the most part I agree, but I have been told that all Maacos are individually owned/operated and some might give you a decent paint job.

Didn't mean to jack the thread and turn it into an anti-Maaco rant, just my $0.02
