You have to pay extra for their "prep plus" package. With that they sand down to the primer I think before spraying on the paint/clear.

I think thats another thing you have to pay extra for. Also, they don't tape very well, my girlfriend took her Jeep there to get the front left fender repainted after a minor accident and there was paint sprayed waaaay down into the wheel well and some paint on the tire itself.

For the most part I agree, but I have been told that all Maacos are individually owned/operated and some might give you a decent paint job.
Didn't mean to jack the thread and turn it into an anti-Maaco rant, just my $0.02
