Default streetglow under car kit

i just bought a streetglow optix undercar kit... the tubes on the sides are held on by the pinch welds, this seemed like the best spot from underneath the car, but i can see them from a distance and its pissing me off... anyone else try putting underglow on their sl2 that could help me find a better place to mount to???

any positive feedback would be MUCH appreciated.

Brian

go to home depot and get a strip of thin sheet metal or gutter material, paint it flat black and tack weld, rivet, or screw it to the "frame rail" type piece to extend it down an inch or two and cover the tube from the side

yes but mine are blue so i plan on using them sparingly

did you also secure them to the pinch welds?

ive been through countless replacement tubes with the optix kit, i found in wisconsin winters ice and snow tend to collect on them and rip the wires from the housing, and i too used to plastic things from the kit but they hold up better than the tubes, who would have thought...

i used the plastic clips too, only theyre bolted to the pinch welds along with several zip ties, and male/female connectors for the wires so i can remove them for the winter
