Hi Everyone,

This is a general question. I am returning my 2004 ION because my lease is up. In 2005 I accidentally hit a freshly painted gas station island and paint got on the front passenger door. My wife and I were able to get the paint off using detail brushes and compound.

We just got the car "buffed" and detailed today, but there is still a semi-noticeable scratch where the paint was.

Has anyone here had an experience where they turned a leased car back in with minor damage? Were you charged? Does anyone know any particular guidelines?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
