If you look at thie picture the ground i am talkin about is above the canister purge soleniod, but below the intake. There are 2 wires with metal loops that a 10mm bolt goes through. I wish i could take a picture for you but the closest engine i have thats out of the car is 100 miles away. The wires are coming from the main harness that leads back there.

Could be a burned out bulb. But check your fuses inside the car and out to be sure all are good.

Where is your location by the way?

I bet thats your problem. IIRC there are 2 wires that go to that bolt. Ill double check tomorrow. There is at least one for sure.

These wire(s) come right out of the harness in the back. Its hard to see, but try your best to pull on each wire and feel for tension. If you find an end with nothing attached thats probably the wire you need.

With out this ground, its possible the wrong voltages are sent to the tranny not allowing it in to gear and thus center of all your problems.

Are you in Lower NY?
