Tools needed:

-Glue
-194/168 led bulbs, I found here:
http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm
they are called "WLED-x5 LED Wedge Base Bulbs"

1. Remove gauge cluster from your car, there are instructions to remove the cluster on this site somewhere.

2. When you have the cluster out, turn it around to the back, it should look somthing like this:

I circled the 5 lights that need replaced with leds, twist counter-clockwise to remove.

3. Now comes the fun part, removing the bulb from the socket. What I did was wiggle back/forth and side/side until the leads from the bulb broke off.

Maybe not the best idea, but it worked for me Very Happy

4. before you install the leds, pull the leads out to the sides like this:

5. I've pointed out where the connection from the leds to the socket has to be. Simply line up the bulb and the socket and push it down until it has seated

at the bottom.

6. The finished product should look like this:

7. Before you put the sockets back into the cluster, put a little super glue around where the led and socket meet. It moves around a little if you don't

and may fall out of the socket.

8. Repeat steps for the other 4 leds.

9. Reinstall cluster into car and enjoy your new backlit gauges Very Happy

NOTES:

-No wires or resistors needed, just plug and play as stated above (the led bulb contains everything that is needed.
-normally you would have to put the leds in one and only one way for it to work, these leds are non-polarised which means that they can be connected either

way.
-If the gauges appear bright, just remember that the dimmer switch is your best friend Very Happy

DISCLAMER:

-I take no responisbilily if you mess up your gauges or brake anything in your car in the process of doing this mod. If your car blows up after doing this

mod, its not my fault (this is highly unlikely, but after the stupid lawsuit with Mcdonalds coffee being hot, I don't need to be sued for something like

this, I had to put it in here Very Happy )

I don't know if you can add to your how to but it might be usefull just to mention for others that some saturns might have to mod the leds in order for them to fit
