Default Need help with engine code and engine problems for a 2002 Saturn sl2

My car decided to stall the couple weeks ago... It's been acting funny for a yr now. Like it will occasionally cut out like its either barely getting spark or gas then with a quick stomp on the pedal it seems to pick back up. Well this time the same occurred but it didn't pick back up. I was going about 5 mph and it stalled. It turns over still like a champ. but it still wont run. I hear the fuel pump running in the back like usual when I turn it to the run position. I hooked up the scanner today and it threw a "U1300 Class 2 Circuit Shorted to Ground" code. I don't know how reliable that code is being it's been sitting with a discharged battery for 2 weeks but whatever. Thought I'd throw that out there. Any ideas will be appreciated. I think it might have something to do with the crank sensor?.

Thanks in advance.
