1992 Saturn SL2
2.0 liter DOHC
Auto
226K miles (Odometer is not working though. It stopped about 2 years ago, about 25k miles ago.)
Inspected until 11-08.
Runs pretty well and is pretty peppy despite it’s age and mileage. Below is a list of know faults.
Engine - Uses oil, about a quart every 400 miles. It doesn't smoke, at least not enough that it can be seen in the rearview mirror.
Transmission - On really cold days (below 40F), sometimes it won't shift into 4th gear until it warms up a bit, usually about 5 minutes or a half mile.
Occasionally, about once a month, it will drop out of fourth gear while driving along. Turning the ignition off and back on restores fourth gear.
Air Conditioning – Doesn’t work. There's a leak somewhere. If it's charged it works for a few days.
Rear Window Defogger - Doesn't work.
Battery – It’s getting old and will probably need to be replaced soon.
Paint – Clear coat is peeling in many places and the color layer on the trunk is bad as well. (see pics)
That's all I can think of at the moment. Any questions please ask. Asking $500 OBO. Located in Honey Brook, PA 19344.
