how to calibrate compass in my 2004 Ion

I just bought a 2004 Saturn Ion and the compass needs to be recalibrated. The car did not come with a owners manual, can someone tell me how to do it?

Compass Calibration

CAL: must be displyed on the mirror

If CAL is not displayed on the mirror, push the on/off button for about 9 seconds or until CAL is displyed

The compass can be calibrated by driving in a circle at five miles per hour or less untill the display reads a direction.

Zone adjustment must be made I need the city that you are in to give you your zone.

I have a unused 2004 manual. $10.00 plus shipping.
