Default Subforums

You have way too many. I don't think a technical sub-forum for each kind of car is necessary. It makes it more confusing than having just one tech forum for the people who give tech advise (ssicarman and joeybagodonuts) and for the users. Also, there are general technical questions that can apply to all types of cars, and if that is isolated in one tech sub-forum, it can be difficult to find.

Just a suggestion....

I agree about to many subsections, not hard to find but to many to bother with.

Which one's specifically do you feel could be removed?

Bearing in mind that the 'how to' area is a mix of model problems.....

I could get rid of that big section and disperse the threads into specific models, thus making it easier for those with model specific faults to look through the threads to see if their fault had already been discussed.

How would you like the site layout changed, in relation to the subs......give me ideas and suggestions on this one, afterall, it will be done for you so you should have imput into what is done and how

Yeah I know, it was my idea and I created it, lol...

Don't get me wrong, the idea of having separate subforums for technical questions on each model IS a good idea, but I think it's way too much. On the old site we had one tech section because it was the easiest thing to do in terms of the staff (well....the old staff) who are helping the people who have the questions.

But honestly, having a green-line tech subforum, you definitely don't need it. I honestly think having one tech forum is fine. Stickying the important stuff for each model if/when needed. As far as organizing stuff by each model being more convenient....the search function is a Godly aspect to a message board and should be used.

BTW, how is the site progressing? Haven't seen any changes since Enrique's return....

The site is progressing as planned, Agilab, thank you for asking

Site changes are an ongoing and continuous job, as I am sure you are aware, Agilab, many are not 'seen' by anyone but have a direct effect on the day to day running of a community like this.

Enrique and I are constantly fine-tuning settings and improving those settings whenever we can, so even if you haven't "seen any changes since Enrique's return", I can assure you that changes have indeed been made for benefit of everyone here.

I would like to remind you, Agilab, and everyone else here, if you have any ideas or suggestions to put forward regarding possible changes that you would like, by all means post them on a thread in Feedback and they will be discussed and if feasible, they will be implemented.

In regards to the reason for this thread, it has been discussed at length and has been decided that the layout of the subs will remain as it is, at least for the time being.

So if anyone has any other ideas or suggestions, please feel free to start a new thread for each idea/suggestion and they will be looked at individually and acted upon where possible. This thread has now served its purpose and will be closed.

Thank you
