Aura Award

So, I was wondering what do you all think of saturn sending out the Aura reward for the car of the year.

it's obviously not the real one, so who cares? a waste of time if you're just going to pass it on IMO

I want an Aura right now. I love how the base model comes with a 3.5 V6 and a buttload of up-scale standard features. That's more power than either of my parent's minivans. I became a sucker for midsize cars when i started driving my aunt's camry in addition to the saturn. nice and roomy and comfy.

Aura is Saturn's first commercially viable car IMO. Granted it took being swallowed by GM and given the same car as other divisions. Aura shares its platform with the G6 and new Malibu, but comes with a long list of standard features and a much higher base price. If you like the Aura, you could conceivably option out a G6 or Malibu enough to satisfy you and save a lot of money, but for a car with the equipment it has, Aura is a bargain. My guess is it is cheaper than a G6 or new malibu equally equipped. I'm also guessing that's how it won this award.

from what I understand there was talk at my work of making a mock up of the award and sending it to our customers to keep. not exactly sure if they have decided to do it or not, but I think it would be cool to be awarded for buying the car.
