| 2002 L200 AC Leaking problem The AC condensation is running off into the interior of the car in the front passenger and drivers side of the vehicle. The condensation is collecting mostly where the front passenger puts their feet, there is some condensation at the drivers side feet as well.
I just took delivery of this car a week ago.
We showed to our sales consultant and he's making an appointment for us first thing on Monday.
Since this is a brand new 2002 L200 should I be concerned?
Thanks Cheryl NOSPAMcherylp3@yahooNOSPAM.com

| Sounds like the drains may have a problem. If it's not fixed then you need to be concerned. The only thing to really watch for is that the carpets get dried out (including the underlay) so that you don't get mildew growing. |

| I was searching on Google and have found that this problem is common in the VUE series. Is this common in the L200 cars?

| There is a fix for it on the VUEs. I have neither heard of nor seen it on the L-series cars. |

| hey tommy, we have been seeing that probem for quite some time on the ls down here , i also just adivsed her the same thing on another thread, MAKE sure they dryed that carpet properly!
but, just wanted to let you know, yes, it has been well documneted and wlel known down here, of course being in fl people LIVE with their a/c running full on constantly AND we have extremley high humidity down here so it may be more commonplace here then anywhere else.

| ive never ran into this issue, but i dont run the AC as much.
post this thread on saturnfans.com .... it'll get a lot of eyeballs and maybe more people will admit to this problem?
Ive only seen posts about VUEs having this issue though.

| Well my 92 had that problem about 5 years ago. The dealership was great to me. They patched it up and dried out my carpet for free. Definite brownie points since I was well off of warranty. |

Are you sure that it's the humidity and not the water table being about even with the bottom of most heater boxes? I guess that we just don't see that AC problems that you guys down there do. But then you don't see the cold start problems that we do. |

| I have this on going theory that saturn engineers all of their HVAC systems in a dry climate...
initial auto hvac woes, condensation forming on vents after AC is shut off, etc. |

| hey now tommy, i know sarcasm when i see it MUHAHAAHA for your damn information i am A WHOPPING, UH.... 5 feet above sea level, thats why its called LE-HIGH, cause were the highest point in lee county! LOL like i said, at a whopping 5 feet, the rest of south fl averages about 4 feet BELOW sea level, yes, thats true, a series of levees and dikes, (no,not the dikes from key west damn it, the kind like in holland!) allow us to build, we just drain the swamp after building a levee, then add dirt, then bam, we rename the swamp something fancy like coral springs, or parkland and we got us a new town! clever huh? (until they realized those swamps they were filling in were actually what our water table uses to filter itself! LOL, it never ends, a vicous enviromental cycle down here!
ok, back to topic <grin> yes, we do see that problem ALLOT on l series, not just the vues, actually the l has had that problem long before the l came out, i THOUGHT there was even a tsb on it, that guys like you in a balmy -13 below climate could catch up on!
