Default 3 wires to horn - what are they?

Horn went bad in my '99 SC1, so I bought a universal one at the store. Stock horn harness has 3 wires - 1 orange, 2 black. Aftermarket has 2 wires - positive & ground.

So, what are the 3 wires to the stock horn?

nevermind

orange = constant power
middle black = switched ground for relay (built into horn)
outer black = constant ground

The relay is built into the horn. I was able to use a relay from a junkyard & wire it into the pre-horn wiring and make everything work like normal. In hindsight, I kinda wish I'd just waited until I went junkyarding again, and gotten a stock horn, though. The above info might be useful for someone wanting to put in a novelty aftermarket horn, though.

for future refrence, ironicallly, the early saturns had two wire horns, those almost never failed, planned obsolence at its finest, in 96 when they went to the 3 wire design they ALL failed, and saturn was nailing peeps price wise, we sell em for 15 bucks and we sell tons of em, but saturn was charging over 100 last i checked on the 3 wire horn prices (that was about 4 years ago, they may have come down now...)
