Default '94 to '95 front seatbelt conversion

hey the driver's side seatbelt motor on my wagon just gave out.

i don't give a damn 'bout the motorized ones. so i've just been unhooking the belt. luckily it failed in the fully retracted position.

anyway. i like the real seatbelts on my '95 and was wondering (without tearing my '95 apart) if the seatbelt mounting points are the same?

can i just switch belt parts then replace the trim with slightly modded '95 trim to make it look stock?

I've never seen it done before but I would imagine that the mount points for the belts are the same. The trim would be where things may look a little rough, I don't know if the doors openings and trim pieces would be the same shape but I suspect that they would be very close if they are not the same.

malice, the trim peices are diffrent as you know cause the motorized one has the slit for the track to ride through. good news? i have TONS AND TONs of the 95 and up trim peices.
tell you what, i am SO slammed due to the projects and the show going on BUT BUT, when you get down here for the show, i will give you free run of the yard, absolutley free, YOU CAN HAVE any of the trim peices you want, and EVEN THE BELT set ups themselves, normally those trim peices go fro 35.00 each used and belts go for 50.00 each, either the day before or during the show you may run to my yard and get all the peices you want for nothing man. least i could do for a freind.

the reason i think they'll fit is in '95 the body and frame we're the same, the engines and interiors are different.

theoreticly a '95 trim panel should have the same mounting points as a '94, since the body shells are the same...

i guess if it costs me nothing for parts, i loose nothing...

i don't wanna take up one of your rooms, because i'm a party of two.

Brooke's taking the '95 SL1 down to enter inthe stock class. so unless you got two open spots, i don't want to take up your space.
