Default 94-99 SOHC hotshot header on a 93 SOHC

What all will I have to do to make this thing fit? Will it bolt up to the head fine? I can't tell any difference between a 93 and 94.

The only differences I know about between 93 and 94 are the radiators, the mounts are slightly different, but other than that I figured they would be identical.

Well here's on on the Roadrunn Sl1. It looks like they cut out some metal there.

It's the crossmember in front of the engine that's different. On the earlier models it sat further back. You can modify like Neil (RoadRunn-my first customer!!!) but you may be delaing with structural issues on a regularly driven road car.

Oh, that's not good then. Could I swap out the crossmember from a 94 SOHC into my 93?

Where is that sensor going to up front there. On mine it sticks right out from the header?

If you wanted to do a whole bunch of cutting and welding, sure. The crossmember is an integal component of the engine cradle/front subframe. I think if you really want to do this, you could cut out the section required, and then box in the crossmember with a plate, and add additional reinforcing to the bottom. I'd suggest 1/8" to 1/4" steel plate.

One big issue: if your state is really harsh on safety inspections, don't do it.
