I have a 97 SC2 that I just bought and the airbag light stays on constantly,can anyone lead me into the right direction to find out what the problem is?
Maybe since your car is salvaged, that it was wrecked and the air bags deployed or something I am not familiar with anything about the airbags maybe someone else can get you further details.
With a trouble code from the air bag system anything would be less than a guess.
Bottom line is that you will need to get the codes read from the SRS (Airbag)l system.

Is there anyway to get the codes all I have is a OBD2 reader and I already tried it and of course it doesn't work.
Now for the second issue I thought the alt. was bad because the battery light is flashing along with the headlights and the instrument panel but I just put a meter on it and its charging.It's on the high side as far as I am conserned(It is bouncing between 14.6 and 15.9)
