O.K. I know that it is not wise to do, but lets say I when the car is for show purposes, can the passenger air bag be removed and not have the BCM think that it is missing? Can one of the wires from it be grouned out or something similiar? I want to mount my PS2 at that spot, but do not want the "airbag" light to be on all the time. Plus I want to make sure that the stearing wheel airbag will still work when needed.

remove the light bulb fron the cluster.....

plus if you take the bulb out the SES light will come on

what year car are we talking about...... my 94 had the light on for 6 months i took it out and mny ses light didnt come on.


removing a light bulb will not make any difference for operation of the system.
