Default Alarm

Is it possible that if the SES light is on, that an aftermarket alarm system wont work properly or is my alarm just not working correctly.

Alarm is an Avital 3300.

You must not have it wired up correctly. Many times has the SES came on and no problems occured w/ my alarm. I've been wrong before though.

I'm thinking I might have found the problem.

SES light and cause of the light should not cause a problem with the alarm.

the only thing that i can think of to make the SES light come on is that if you hooked it up wrong to the ignition wire....but im not expert
