Default Anyone running stock struts with springs?

Does anyone here have an older model saturn (95 or older) with stock sturuts and aftermarket springs? How do they ride? I really don't think I need new struts. I tried the test by bouncing the car and if it bounces more than twice they're bad. I pushed down on my car on a 4 corners, they went down and came back up with no bouncing. So I still think they're good.

I don't know that there is any difference as far as years are concerned, but I run the 2" Sprint springs with my stock struts. The ride is slightly stiffer than stock, but still very smooth. You shouldn't have any problems unless you go with H&R springs or something with a high spring rate.

I drive a 95 Sl1 with Sprint Extremes and stock struts. The ride is a little bouncy but it is fine for daily driving. I have a 2 year old and he doesn't mind the ride, it is not too excessive!

Hey man,

I've been riding on stock struts with a 2" Progress Spring Drop. AT first the ride was okay, a little stiff but not too harsh. Now after almost two years, I think I'm ready for a stut replacement. But it did last me almost two years.
