Default Auto Shift Knob

How do you take off your stock factory automatic shift knob off. I have a new one that I just bought and would like to know how to get the stock one off. Thanks Cheddar

Turn the car to ACC, pull on the e-brake, and put it in 2nd gear. Behind the knob is a little "U" shaped pin. Use needle-nose pliers to pull it out and the knob will come off.

Hope its not an APC knob. I just bought one and spent 15mins fiddling with it (the instructions were missing), not that having them would have helped. Maybe its cuz mine is shortened, but I doubt that it will fit any Saturn.
